Purpose

CNC drilling center KD-610XHZ with automatic dowel insertion unit, two drilling groups at the top and bottom for drilling from 6 sides and a grooving saw (workpiece size 1000 * 2800 mm), two milling spindles and a linear tool change of 5 positions is designed for high-precision drilling through and blind holes in the ends and planes of furniture panels, which allows processing any additive maps in one pass of the part. The machine is equipped with two milling units for milling both simple straight grooves, such as a groove for the back wall or the bottom of a box, and profiling.

Automatic dowel insertion unit
The automatic dowel insertion unit performs the complete dowel fitting cycle: dowel feeding, glue application into the hole, and dowel pressing to the required depth. Dowels are fed from the hopper, automatically oriented, and delivered one by one to the insertion area. The system precisely doses the glue, ensuring consistent joint quality and reducing material consumption. Thanks to automatic positioning, the dowel is inserted evenly and without misalignment, improving the accuracy of furniture part assembly.
