Engineering advantages
Thanks to its two independent worktables, the machine can process two panels simultaneously.
The machine is equipped with a Windows-based industrial computer. The CAD/CAM control panel supports barcode scanning, helping to increase machine productivity.
An intelligent vision system for barcode and QR code recognition is installed on each worktable. It automatically scans the code and identifies the required machining program.
Each worktable is equipped with three drilling units comprising 12 horizontal spindles and 35 vertical spindles (26 upper and 9 lower), as well as two routing units: one upper unit rated at 5.5 kW and one lower unit rated at 3.5 kW. Each worktable also features one upper grooving unit equipped with a 120 mm saw blade.
In total, the two worktables are equipped with four routing spindles, two grooving units and six drilling units, comprising 94 drilling spindles: 70 vertical and 24 horizontal.
The machine can process two panels at the same time, both top and bottom, within one working cycle, thanks to the possibility of drilling from 6 sides.
Four routing spindles rated at 2x5.5 kW + 2x3.5 kW (upper and lower) for machining straight and curved grooves.
2 grooving units with a saw (disk diameter 120 mm).
Automatic workpiece width detection.
Two automatic clamps securely hold workpieces from 200 to 2800 mm in length and reduce the number of regripping operations required during drilling. This significantly reduces the machining cycle time compared with machines equipped with a single clamp. The maximum feed speed has been increased to 140 m/min.
The minimum workpiece size is 200x45 mm, enabling the drilling of small-format parts.
The upper routing spindles are equipped with powerful vertical hold-down systems, each featuring two pressure plates. They improve routing accuracy and prevent damage to the workpiece.
The workpiece is positioned on the machine by an automatic side alignment device. After the barcode is scanned, the side alignment device moves as close as possible to the workpiece according to its dimensions. The workpiece rests against the X-axis zero reference, while the side alignment device positions it along the Y-axis. Two pneumatic grippers then transfer the workpiece into the machine’s working area for further processing.
The side alignment device ensures accurate operation by being mounted on a linear guide using two bearing carriages. Its movement is driven by a servo motor.
Movable plates in the drilling area enable through routing. Easy movement of workpieces across the table is ensured by an airflow supplied through openings in the table surface by a dedicated electric blower. This prevents scratches from forming on the underside of the workpiece.
During the machine design process, the maximum permissible loads and structural requirements were calculated and simulated using CAD software. The welded machine frame undergoes stress-relief heat treatment to eliminate internal stresses in the material. It is then machined on a five-axis CNC machining center, where all mounting surfaces and holes for installing the machine units and components are precisely milled.
The machine features rear workpiece unloading.
The sealed, dust- and moisture-resistant electrical cabinet houses electronic components from leading global manufacturers. It is located outside the machining area, extending the service life of the electrical components and providing convenient access for maintenance.
